Durrr challenge passes 10,000 hands

The $1 million Durrr challenge match between Tom Dwan and Patrik Antonius neared 12,000 hands over the weekend.
Antonius came out in front - up by just over $61,000 - as the 50,000-hand heads-up game edged closer to the end of the first quarter.
The match has been playing now for almost 40 hours in total, but neither competitor has managed to build a substantial lead as yet.
After a slow start, the sessions have been coming thick and fast over the last few days and it now appears possible that the match will have at least reached the half-way mark by the time the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas rolls around at the end of May.
Antonius has been getting the better of the match of late and he has proven just as successful in other high-stakes matches so far this year.
Highstakesdb.com reported on Monday (April 13th) that he picked up almost $700,000 in one session over the weekend, taking his overall online winnings for 2009 to nearly $4 million.
