Juanda, Matusow make WSOP champions list

John Juanda and Mike Matusow are the two latest names to be added to Bluff Magazine's list of the 40 greatest World Series of Poker (WSOP) champions.
Four-time bracelet holder Juanda ranked 28th in the official WSOP website countdown, with the publication pointing to his prolific number of final table appearances and his victory in last year's WSOP Europe main event as some of his biggest achievements.
The WSOP Europe victory followed a series of cashes at the summer WSOP in Las Vegas and helped him to finish 25th overall in Card Player's player of the year competition.
Matusow may have won one less bracelet than Juanda, but he placed above him in the list in 27th position.
Bluff stated: "His high profile personality and need for action has made him one of the most compelling figures to watch in recent years."
Sailor Roberts, the 1975 WSOP main event winner, preceded Juanda in the rankings in 29th place.
