The fourth day of play at the World Poker Tour (WPT) Championship at the Bellagio in Las Vegas has wrapped up, with a new chip leader emerging.
A total of 62 players remained at the beginning of the day, with the money bubble bursting at 50.
By the end of play Eugene Katchalov came out on top of the 24 remaining participants and will resume with 4,294,000 chips.
His nearest rival is Christian Harder, with just over three million, while Yevgeniy Timoshenko Justin Young are the other players above the two million mark.
But among those to have been eliminated is Phil Ivey, who pocketed $40,885 for finishing 34th, as well as Steve Billirakis, who began the day in the chip lead but ultimately finished 26th.
A total of 338 players entered the tournament, with the winner set to take down $2.1 million, last year's victor having netted over $3.3 million.
