WSOP Circuit makes last stop in New Orleans

The last stop of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit season gets underway today (May 8th).
Harrah's, New Orleans is the venue for the event - the Bayou Poker Challenge - which runs until May 20th.
Last year a total of 249 runners were attracted, creating a prize pool of close to $1.2 million.
Nick Ceci ultimately took down the event, pocketing $382,928 and a championship ring, as well as a place in the $10,000 WSOP Main Event.
A series of satellite tournaments will be taking place throughout the two weeks, with buy-ins of between $300 and $1,000, but the main championship itself gets underway on May 18th and runs for three days.
Last week's WSOP Circuit event in Las Vegas was won by Justin Bonomo, who took home $240,000 in addition to a ring and Main Event seat.
He prevailed after nearly four hours of heads-up play against Michael 'The Grinder' Mizrachi, who had the chip lead at the beginning of the final day.
