Lisa Wilder wins Bayou ladies' tournament

The penultimate tournament of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit event in New Orleans has been completed.
Lisa Wilder took down the Bayou Poker Challenge's ladies championship, Bluff Media reports.
She pocketed more than $14,000 and a WSOP Circuit gold ring, having come through a field of 189 at Hurrah's.
Wilder, a secretary and part-time poker player, began the final table with one of the lowest stacks before gradually taking command by the time the event finished at 05:00 local time - 16 hours after play began.
According to the news source, the $300 buy-in for the no-limit hold'em event represented an increase on the $200 of previous years.
But this did not appear to have put off entrants, due in part to the fact that the High Heels Poker Tour (HHPT), with which the tournament was coordinated, brought a contingent of players.
The HHPT was founded by Lauren Failla, with the aim of promoting and supporting women in poker.
