Devilfish impresses Oxford crowd

More than 200 poker enthusiasts turned out to hear Dave 'Devilfish' Ulliott speak at the Oxford Union recently.
The poker pro was invited to add his name to a list of distinguished guests that have appeared at the venue over the years, including Richard Nixon and Winston Churchill.
And in addition to addressing the crowd, he signed copies of his autobiography and took part in a game of small-stakes pot-limit Omaha.
Organizer of the event Joe Barnard noted that Ulliott "didn't disappoint", after they tried for six years to attract him to speak.
"His manner is unique, enigmatic and his dry humor put a smile on everyone's face. Afterwards, he received a rapturous round of applause," said Barnard.
Oxford Union exists separately from Oxford University and the student union and those scheduled to speak in the near future include Aaron Sorkin, creator of The West Wing and A Few Good Men.
