Professional poker player Annie Duke has announced that she is co-hosting a charity poker tournament next week, with the aim of raising money for Refugees International.
She will be presenting the event alongside Frank Marino - an impersonator of Joan Rivers, whom Duke lost out to in the final of Celebrity Apprentice.
Taking place at the Hard Rock Casino Poker Lounge in Las Vegas, the event is $200 buy-in, no-limit Texas hold'em tournament dubbed 'Sucking out on the Rivers'.
Explaining the decision to stage it, Duke explained that Rivers had been disparaging toward poker players during the show.
"As poker players, we're all banding together, not just to prove a point to Joan, but to actually change the world," she said.
Duke is expected to appear at the third Ante Up for Africa event, which will raise money for humanitarian efforts in Darfur, at the World Series of Poker in July.
