Caribbean Adventure added to LAPT schedule

The Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT) is set to take in a new stop during its third season.
Gamers on the tour will have the opportunity to take part in the $10,000 buy-in main event at the Caribbean Adventure, which has been part of the World Poker Tour and European Poker Tour.
Andre Akkari, a Brazilian poker pro who has banked more than $200,000 in live tournaments so far in his career, commented: "I'm really happy that the tour will take in the Caribbean Adventure event in The Bahamas - its one of my favorite tournaments of the year."
He added that the competition offers something for everyone through its beautiful sunny setting and the 50 poker events on offer.
Previous winners of the main event at the Caribbean Adventure include French gamer Bertrand Grospellier and Canadian Poorya Nazari, who pocketed $2 million and $3 million respectively.
