Doyle Brunson's autobiography to go on sale next week

The autobiography of poker veteran Doyle Brunson will be on sale on November 11th 2009.
Poker News Daily reports that the book chronicles the rise of poker from an underground activity to the popular sport it is known as today through the eyes of one of the games most successful players.
Brunson tells of his time at university where he was pulled up in front of a disciplinary board five times for gambling and his brushes with criminal elements in the course of his immersion into the world of poker.
The book also tells of Brunson's health problems such as how he was told he would die from melanoma in 1962.
It follows the rise of his career and his now famous appearances in the early days of the World Series of Poker (WSOP).
Only Phil Hellmuth has won more titles at the WSOP than Brunson, who has claimed ten bracelets so far in his career.
