Vanessa Rousso 'to give away cash in a new TV show'

Giving money away for nothing should be against the very nature of a top poker player.
However, this is exactly what professional gamer Vanessa Rousso has been signed up to do by E! Entertainment Television in a new television series.
The poker star, who has cashed 11 times in the World Series of Poker and five times in World Poker Tour events, will feature on a panel in a series called Bank of Hollywood.
Contestants will appeal to the panel - which also includes Wilhelmina Models president Sean Patterson, Pussycat Dolls singer Melody Thornton and author Candy Spelling - for any amount of money for any purpose.
The panel will then decide whether or not the contestants will receive the funds. The panelists have apparently opted to forgo their fees to create the Bank of Hollywood, so the funds come from their own pocket.
Ryan Seacrest, executive producer of the show, commented: "The idea's simple: we are giving away tons of money to everyday people to alleviate the stress of today's climate and have fun."
