Cada - Poker's newest ambassador?

World Series of Poker (WSOP) main event champion Joseph Cada might prove to be a great ambassador for the game, it has been suggested.

According to Card Player magazine, the youngest-ever champion showed great maturity in his reaction to winning the most prestigious title in the game.

It noted that rather than extravagant shows of celebration, the 21-year-old immediately congratulated and commended his heads-up opponent Darvin Moon, acknowledged the other gamers at the final table and thanked his supporters.

When he took his seat at the felt he was also sporting a Poker Players Alliance (PPA) patch - an organization comprised of online and offline players that aims to promote and protect the game.

In reference to the PPA, Cada commented: "Whatever they want me to do, I'm there to do it … I hope to help poker grow and represent it well … I welcome being pushed in the poker spotlight."

Last month, Mike Sexton, one of the game's most famous ambassadors, became the only player this year to be inducted in the Poker Hall of Fame, where he joins the likes of Doyle Brunson, Phil Hellmuth, TJ Cloutier and Jack Binion.
