Korean gamer Dong-Bin Han has become the latest winner on the Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT).
He defeated David Hilton of the US in the heads-up in the Philippines to pocket a first prize of 7.41 million Philippine pesos ($168,000).
The eventual champion suffered a moment of embarrassment when he prematurely celebrated his victory after a fortunate river card gave each player two pairs with an ace kicker.
Han thought his A-K was enough but soon realised his mistake and sat back down to complete the game.
It was not long before he had real reason to celebrate however. Hilton pushed all-in before the flop with Q-J and was instantly called by Han who tabled pocket queens.
However, there was a moment of concern for Han when a ten and nine on the flop gave his opponent an open-ended straight draw.
But it was not to be and the turn and river bricked for Hilton, giving Han the win with two-pair queens and tens over his opponent's tens and nines.
The last APPT event was held in Auckland, New Zealand and this was won by Simon Watt who banked $154,043 when he outlasted a field of 262 other players.
