Negreanu admits 'key pot trouble'

Daniel Negreanu has stated that his game is currently being hampered by losing important pots at vital stages in tournaments.
Writing for his blog at Full Contact Poker, Negreanu confessed that during an online session he spent $1,808 but was only able to make back $299.28.
"I'm putting myself in position consistently, but I've been losing those key pots that either propel me into the top tier chip stacks, or leave me crippled," he said.
According to the card sharp, who has four World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets, he is currently underachieving in the competitions in which he has been playing.
Commenting on his performance over the net, Kid Poker remarked that he was happy despite finishing down.
It will take a while to get used to the format, he explained, but taking it seriously is important to putting in a good show.
Negreanu secured his first WSOP victory in 1998 while playing pot-limit hold'em.
