Brunson drops out of Premier League

Doyle Brunson has announced that he will not be taking part in the upcoming Premier League IV season following dental surgery.
The Grandfather of Poker - who has won ten World Series of Poker (WSOP) Bracelets during his career - said the five-and-a-half-hour operation on his teeth and gums will take a while for him to recover from.
Despite the fact appearing at the event will be excellent exposure for him and his website, Brunson stated, it will be impossible for him to be fully fit.
Commenting on the Premier League, he said: "It is the most widely watched TV show in Europe, with a $100,000 buy-in."
The 76-year-old admitted that his age might actually be catching up with him, as he also noted he will drop out of the World Poker Tour leg at the Commerce Casino in Las Vegas, a PokerStars televised event and the NBC Heads Up Championship.
