Isildur1 loses almost $1 million

2010-02-18 17:21:15

Online player Isldur1 has lost more than $900,000 against Brian Townsend and Justin Bonomo over the course of 2,200 hands.

According to the Cake Poker Blog, the internet phenomenon had previously taken $560,000 from Bonomo only days earlier.

However, the tables turned with the American recouping some $400,000 from the anonymous Isildur1 to get "back in the black", the news provider stated.

Townsend took an even larger chunk of the unknown Swede's bankroll, pocketing close to $600,000 in approximately 30 hands.

The co-owner of instructional website CardRunner is known for building a profile on Isildur1 for Brian Hastings, resulting in the latter winning $4.2 million in a single session between the two.

"Isildur1 has continued to sit down with anyone who wants to take him on," Cake Poker Blog concluded.

In an interview with Card Player, Patrik Antonius recently said that the internet pro will become even more of a challenge in the next year or two as he gains more experience.
