Gross on top in OPOY poker race

Steve 'gboro780' Gross has again risen to first place in Card Player's online player of the year (OPOY) competition, cementing his position as one of the world's top internet poker tournament competitors.Gross has been among the most dominant forces in the magazine's rankings in recent years and topped the table for 2009 with a record points score.
He currently lies in first place for 2010 with a total of 3,462, leaving him 128 points ahead of Casey Jarzabek in second position and more than 1,000 in front of Brent Belser in third.
The score puts Gross on track to top last year's winning figure of 10,188 points and the $381,308 he has accumulated along the way has left him within touching distance of earning $2.5 million in lifetime OPOY prizes.
Other notable players inside Card Player's top 20 at the moment include Aditya Agarwal (7th), Kevin MacPhee (13th) and Raj Vohra (17th).
