Roy Winston praises Matt Glantz, Brian Townsend

World Poker Tour (WPT) titlist Roy Winston has praised the playing abilities of Matt Glantz and Brian Townsend, whom he competed against over the weekend in the WPT Celebrity Invitational tournament in Los Angeles.In his Card Player blog, he called internet superstar Townsend "great" and "very dangerous", while he said he considers Glantz to be "one of the best high stakes cash players in the world".
Winston indicated that the rest of his starting table was tough as well, claiming it was probably the most difficult one in the room.
It also featured former WPT player of the year Jonathan Little and top female card sharp Tiffany Michelle, who finished inside the top 20 in the 2008 World Series of Poker main event.
There was no mention of the performances of some of the celebrities who attended the tournament in the blog post, which included rock guitarist Slash and actress Teri Hatcher.
