Doyle: I can still be competitive

Doyle Brunson has claimed that he can still be a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming NBC Heads Up Championship, despite feeling out of form.Commenting on the competition, which begins this Friday (March 5th), Brunson wrote on his official blog that he is still debating whether or not he wants to play as he has been away from the game for some time.
"It's been a while since I played any live poker … I can't seem to focus enough for any long sessions," he stated.
According to Texas Dolly, despite his lagging performances of late, the format of the NBC event means he could be competitive "on autopilot'.
"It is a fun tournament with no long hours," the card sharp noted.
The ten-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner earned the moniker Texas Dolly after an announcer misread his real nickname Texas Doyle during the introductions for an event.
