Negreanu: I'm a better player now than I ever was

Daniel Negreanu has stated that he is now at the peak of his career and is a much improved player from when he first entered the poker scene.In a post for his Full Contact Poker blog, Kid Poker said that 2010 is already shaping up to be one of his best, adding that he has made "good decisions all year".
"I'm a better [no-limit] hold'em player than ever before," he remarked.
However, the World Series of Poker bracelet winner admitted that the advantage he holds over other players on the circuit is narrower than it was previously.
"Poker was just so much easier then," he explained. "But I'm still a much better player now."
According to the card sharp, the progress that young internet players have shown in recent times has been immense, which has pushed him to perform better.
Negreanu was recently usurped as the all-time tournament money leader by Phil Ivey, with the latter coming second in the Aussie Millions High Roller event in January.
