Colin McTaggart lands Grosvenor UK Poker Tour

The UK Poker Tour Walsall main event has been secured by Colin McTaggart, who entered the tournament via a free ticket won through an online qualifier.Hailing from Belfast, McTaggart saw off a field of 206 competitors to land the title, including last year's winner Mike Ellis, who made the final table.
The 30-year-old McTaggart won £57,700 ($86,755) for his troubles from an initial outlay of just £30 - which the Ormskirk-based landlord said he spent on travel.
Second-place Anthony Crotty collected the runner-up's prize of £39,150, while eight other players were rewarded with cash amounts.
London will host the next leg of the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour, which is to be held from March 18th to March 28th.
Entrants will have to part with £1,500 if they wish to play.
The Bolton leg of the competition was won recently by Priyan de Mel, who pocketed £44,600 after having triumphed at a similar event in Blackpool last November.
