Brunson offers online poker players an apology

Doyle Brunson has admitted that preconceptions he and his fellow cash games players may have had about the quality of online poker players could be wrong.Texas Dolly went on to state on his official blog that a number of live money professionals often consider internet games to be inferior, but should not let this cloud their judgement.
"I think the cash game players, including myself, owe the online pros an apology," he remarked. "I know there are lots of things about the mechanics of online play we don't know."
However, Brunson was quick to add that cash game participants will have the edge when taking on opponents face-to-face.
Despite this, the most important factor in playing poker is the ability to adapt to every format of the game and become an all-rounder, he explained.
Brunson is currently sitting out a number of tournaments while he recovers from tooth and gum surgery.
