Isildur1 claims more online poker winnings

2010-03-10 16:52:45

Isildur1 has pocketed nearly $2.2 million over the last few days playing online poker.

The anonymous Swede took on a number of internet professionals during his two-day blitz, including long-term foe Brian Hastings, according to a blog post on Cake Poker.

Previously, the two have locked horns resulting in the former dropping some $4 million in one session, although this particular match is steeped in controversy after it emerged that Hastings had access to a hand histories database, allowing him to monitor the mystery gamer's play.

However, Isildur1 recouped around $556,000 from Hastings on this occasion after time spent at the $300/$600 and the $500/$1,000 pot-limit Omaha tables.

He also took $785,000 from online pro Cole South, as well as chunks from Ilari Sahamies's bankroll, among others.

Classified as a hyper-aggressive player, Isildur1 was described by Cake Poker as "a complete maniac in terms of both his hand selection and his game selection".

It added: "He'll play any hand against anybody at any stakes and that's what makes him so dangerous."
