Negreanu outlines 'busy' poker schedule

2010-03-12 14:05:14

Daniel Negreanu has lamented the fact that he may lose a golf bet to fellow pros due to his busy poker schedule over the coming months.

Writing for his Full Contact Poker blog, the card sharp stated that he made a wager with Erick Lindgren and Phil Ivey that he would be able to shoot an 80 or better round from the blue tees at TPC Summerlin in time for this year's World Series of Poker (WSOP).

"Since then, I haven't had any time at all to work on golf. None at all. Looking ahead to my schedule, I started to realize that it wasn't looking good for me," he said.

Outlining his upcoming commitments, Kid Poker stated he will be playing in the World Poker Tour Championship on April 19th, following nearly a month in Austria.

After that, the European Poker Tour Grand Final takes place in Monte Carlo, the four-time WSOP bracelet winner commented.

The first event of the WSOP starts on May 28th and is a casino employees-only event.
