Negreanu: I'm frustrated I only have 4 bracelets

2010-03-15 16:07:21

Daniel Negreanu has claimed that his performances in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) are disappointing to date.

Writing on his Full Contact Poker blog, the card sharp stated he should be on at least six or seven bracelets by now, whereas in reality he only has four.

"I want to win some bracelets man," he said. "My record at the WSOP is just really weird to me and so unlike how I do in other events."

Kid Poker went on to note that despite reaching the last three ten times since playing in the world-renowned competition, he has failed to overcome some "relatively weak" opponents.

According to Negreanu, this year he will concentrating on reaching first place, rather than making "distracting" bets with other pros that affect his performance.

The Canadian recorded his first victory in the 1998 WSOP, where he took home the $2,000 buy-in pot-limit Texas hold-em event.
