'Big hopes' for WPT Bucharest

There are big hopes for the success of the inaugural Bucharest leg of the World Poker Tour (WPT), it has been claimed.Chief executive officer of Regency Casino Bucharest - which is holding the event - Sorin Constantinescu said he and his organisation want it to become a "major event".
"The combination of the excellent location, special facilities and great tournament action will keep players coming back," he remarked.
His comments came as the WPT announced new features to the scheduled stop, which begins on March 20th, including additional side games and satellites.
A party for all the participants is to kick off at the Space Club near the local Novotel Hotel on March 26th.
The main event, a €3,000 ($4,069) + 300 buy-in tournament, will begin two days later, while the final table is to take place in early April.
Currently in its eighth series, the WPT began in 2002.
