Enigma wins WSOP Circuit event

2010-03-25 17:31:09

Brent Wilkes - nicknamed The Enigma - has been victorious in the most recent World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit tournament.

The event was held at Harrah's Rincon Casino and Resort and Wilkes scooped $10,090 in prize money - plus his first-ever gold ring.

It is an accolade that is presented to all champions of WSOP Circuit events that take place up and down the country.

This was the fourth time The Enigma picked up a cash reward at such a competition.

His efforts brought him a five-figure score after he beat other players, including Joseph Occhipinti and David Four Racks Luttbeg, in a five-hour Final Table battle, after two consecutive days of play in the No-Limit Hold'em tournament.

Bernie Yang recently won a WSOP tournament held at the same venue, earning the biggest payout of his career - receiving over $20,000 - and was also presented with his first-ever gold ring.
