DonkeyBomber appeals to fans for WSOP TOC entry

2010-03-29 15:44:41

Tom Schneider is allegedly so eager to take part in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Tournament of Champions (TOC) that he is offering to pay his fans to vote for him.

According to Pokerati.com, Schneider - also known as the DonkeyBomber - sent out emails to people he knows in an effort to buy their nominations.

The email stated those who select him for the competition will get a share of half of any prize money he wins.

Only 27 participants will be included in the event, with 20 of these being decided by ballot box.

The remaining seven are made up of previous years' winners, as well as the reigning WSOP and WSOP Europe champions. There will also be two seats given to sponsored players.

In the email, Schneider said: "I really would like to play in this tournament and your vote is very important to me. That's why I'm paying for it."
