Schwartz: Viktor Blom is Isildur1

2010-03-30 14:08:05

Professional high-stakes poker enthusiast Luke Schwartz has claimed mysterious internet phenomenon Isildur1 is in fact Swedish gamer Viktor Blom.

Within the industry there have been rumours that Blom is the anonymous pro, but he has never publicly admitted the fact.

However, in an interview with Poker Player, Schwartz said the reports are correct and the Swede is who everyone thinks he is.

Commenting on Isildur1, the controversial trash-talker admitted he is one of the best no-limit hold'em players in the world, adding: "But he can still go broke every single time he opens the laptop."

"He's younger than me, he's 19 so that's going to happen to him for a few years," Schwartz, nicknamed Full Flush, stated.

According to the card shark, the reason Isildur1 is always losing his money is because he fails to incorporate good bankroll management skills into his game.

Tony G recently offered to pay the secretive player's flights, hotel rooms and buy-in for PartyPoker's Big Game IV event, provided he shows up.
