Hellmuth and Brunson to lead US in World Team event

Phil Hellmuth and Doyle Brunson will be heading the US team in the upcoming World Team Poker Event.The two legends of the sport will be joined by a number of well-known faces on the scene, such as Howard Lederer and his sister Annie Duke, Chris 'Jesus' Ferguson, Allen Cunningham, Jennifer Harman and Erik Seidel.
Commenting on his official blog, Brunson said the tournament - which is being held at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas - "should be a lot of fun".
"Phil Hellmuth was the captain of the [US] team, but he graciously deferred the captaincy to me," Texas Dolly explained, adding that the buy-in is $50,000.
Aside from the Americans, nations including Vietnam, England, Switzerland, Israel, Australia and China will be represented.
The England side is set to have Dave 'Devilfish' Ulliott, Ram Vaswani, Surinder Sunar, Joe Beevers, Peter Costa and Dave Colclough - the latter being Welsh.
