Brian Townsend 'doing well at poker'

Online professional Brian Townsend has stated he is doing particularly well at poker this month after a disappointing start to the year.Writing for his CardRunners blog, the card shark described 2010 as a "disaster" so far and admitted it was good to be posting some positive results.
He remarked: "I am up about $500,000, which is great but I still have a long way to go to [be] even and even longer to be out of this downswing."
According to the internet pro, as long as he continues to play strongly his performance in the long run should improve.
Commenting on the recent Irish Open, Townsend claimed he enjoyed the whole experience of visiting Dublin, but he admitted he was disappointed to be eliminated on the first day.
Earlier this month, he stated that should he bust out from the tournament early, he would take the chance to do some sightseeing.
