Alan Baekke looking for second straight EPT victory

Alan Baekke is still on course to record back-to-back European Poker Tour (EPT) titles.With four days gone at EPT San Remo, the Dane is well placed with 1,485,000 chips to his name.
In his last EPT outing, the online poker professional lifted the Snowfest crown, a result that won him €445,000 ($598,000).
The winner will walk away with a cheque worth €1, 250,000. It is the biggest ever event held by the EPT, while whoever triumphs will get a seat at the grand final.
With 66 players remaining in the poker tournament, the field is being led by Jakob Karlsson from Sweden.
British pro Liv Boeree, French veteran Michel Abecassis and EPT Baden winner Thang Duc Nguyen are just three of the card sharps still in contention for the top prize.
It was recently announced that the World Poker Tour is to expand its operations with a new contest taking place in France.
