Tony G confirms EPT Grand Final appearance

2010-04-20 14:00:19

Tony G has confirmed that he will play in the European Poker Tour (EPT) Grand Final in Monte Carlo, which begins on April 25th.

In his official blog, he noted that the high roller event was a lot of fun last year and he is hoping to repeat the results he managed in the tournament.

The acerbic Australian revealed that he has been affected by the volcanic ash coming in from Iceland, as he has been in the Isle of Man.

In order to get back to London, he had to take a ferry to Liverpool before getting a train down as his plane was cancelled.

According to the card sharp, he was recently meant to come up against online poker player Isildur1.

However, the mysterious Swede pulled out of the contest at the last minute, leaving Tony G frustrated.

He added: "I am taking it personally. I now, more than ever, want to make him bleed from the mask in a poker game."
