WPT World Championship no show for Doyle Brunson

Doyle Brunson has revealed that he will not be making an appearance at the World Poker Tour (WPT) World Championship because of a previous commitment.Texas Dolly, writing in his official blog, stated that he has agreed to speak at a convention of the athletic directors of California high schools, after being asked to do so by an old basketball buddy.
"I said yes, unaware that the dates were conflicting with the tournament. It's impossible for me not to go because they have put out literature and brochures," he said.
The ten-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner also heaped praise on Vanessa Selbst, who recently won the North American Poker Tour Mohegan Sun event.
He noted that when it comes to her ability on the table, it cannot be questioned, before adding that she had knocked him out of the WSOP heads up tournament.
Brunson recently revealed that he has been really missing the game as he recovers from tooth and gum surgery.
