Tony G out of EPT Grand Final

Tony G busted out of the European Poker Tour (EPT) Grand Final after a "nasty" hand.

The outspoken Australian - famous for his verbal intimidation while on the felt - noted in his official blog that he lost 80 per cent of his chips after being rivered by a ten when he flopped a pair of jacks.

As a result, the card sharp exited the poker tournament after only six hours, but he is determined to win in other events.

"Last year I got busted but came back well in the High Roller Event and won over [$500,000] in cash and I plan on doing the same thing this year," he added.

Once he is finished in Monaco, the poker professional intends to enjoy himself in a number of TV appearances that he has lined up and then he will move onto the high-stakes tables' at the World Series of Poker.

Poker enthusiast Victoria Coren and former footballer Teddy Sheringham are just two of the payers to have made it through safely to the next round.
