Doyle Brunson 'excited by Big Game'

2010-05-10 11:06:42

Doyle Brunson has revealed that the Big Game is set to be a "very good show"

The Texas Dolly, writing in his official blog, noted he cannot give away the final result but thinks it will be entertaining when it is shown on TV.

He added it could rival High Stakes Poker in terms of popularity, as "the set was spectacular and is the best I've seen".

Brunson joined the growing chorus of card sharps calling for sunglasses to be banned.

"Even though lots of the players don't like it, the human element of seeing your opponent should be a part of poker," he remarked.

His comments came a matter of days after Daniel Negreanu stated they should be outlawed as it gives opponents a chance to cheat.

The ten-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner has just returned from a trip to Costa Rica, where he checked out the progress of the Doylesroom's home office.
