Annette Obrestad 'is hungry for the WSOP'

Annette Obrestad will be making one of the most eagerly anticipated debuts in the history of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) this year.The 21-year-old has cultivated quite a name for herself in Europe, where gambling is legal from the age of 18, Poker News reports.
She won the inaugural WSOP Europe championship bracelet and finishing as runner-up at the 2007 European Poker Tour Dublin.
Obrestad is going to Las Vegas full of confidence, as she looks to do more than just make the numbers up.
She told the news provider: "I feel like I'm going to do well because I've had a good start of the year and I'm really on top of my game."
The card sharp added that she is "running pretty good" at the minute and so she thinks a WSOP bracelet is not out of her reach.
And Obrestad will be hoping to continue the fine form shown by women on tour this year, with Annie Duke, Vanessa Selbst and Liv Boeree already claiming titles.
