WSOP Europe to offer five bracelets

2010-05-28 17:58:18

A total of five bracelets will be on offer at this year's World Series of Poker (WSOP) Europe in London.

The schedule for the event has been confirmed, with the Casino at the Empire in Leicester Square once again playing host.

Tournaments get underway on September 14th and will run for two weeks, kicking off with a £2,500 buy-in no-limit hold'em contest.

A new addition to the 2010 instalment of WSOP Europe is a "high-roller" heads-up event, which will last for three days.

It begins on September 21st - two days ahead of the main event, which has the same buy-in of £10,000.

Bracelets will also be on offer for a £5,000 pot-limit Omaha tournament and £1,000 no-limit hold'em.

A WSOP Circuit tournament in New Orleans this week came to an abrupt end after the final three players in the main event came to an agreement to split the pot - those in second and third having decided this was a better option than going for the win.
