How do I play?

From 1st June up until the first round of group games are over on 16th June, you will be able to select ONE team participating 2010 World Cup in South Africa. To opt in from 1st June, simply log onto the InterPoker software, click on ‘Multi tourney’ then ‘Private’ and register for the tournament with the country name you wish to select. You will need to have earned 1 raked hand between 1st June and 16th to be eligible. Then all your play at InterPoker from 18th June – 11th July onwards combined with your team’s performance will determine your cash prize!!

Important: Promotion registration in the software allows you to see how many players have chosen each team, but is not an actual tournament. Remember, choose just ONE team as those choosing more than one team will be ineligible from the promotion. You may unregister and re-register if you change your mind but make sure you’ve decided by 16th June when registration closes!

What are the prizes?

A cash prize of up to €2500 will be awarded depending on where your chosen team finishes, and this will be split between all of the players that have chosen the same team. However, there will be a twist! Here it is:

Your percentage of the prize pool will be based on the percentage of World Cup points you have earned compared to the other players that have chosen the same team.

World Cup Points - Players receive 1 ‘World Cup’ point for every €0.25 generated in rake between 18th June and 11th July. The promotion is only open to real money players and all players must generate at least 1 ‘World Cup’ point to be eligible for prizes.

It may be wise to think strategically and choose your team carefully.

Don’t worry, we will do the maths for you – from 18th June you can enter your Nickname and find out all the info you need! We will display the following:

• your team choice.
• how many players have chosen that team
• your World Cup Points
• the percentage of prize pool you will win (to be updated hourly)

Remember, the points start counting from 18th June.

Terms & Conditions

• Results are based upon the results of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa June 11th to July 11th.
• World Cup Points earned in the World Cup Glory promotion are based on GMT (Greenwich meantime) and counted between 18th June to 11th July 2010.
• Data will be updated on an hourly basis from 18th June unless stated otherwise or due to any technical restriction.
• The promotion is only open to real money players and all players must generate at least 1 ‘World Cup’ point to be eligible for prizes.
• Choosing more than one country in the World Cup Glory promotion will result in disqualification.
• Choices will only be accepted by registrants to the specified holding tanks (tournaments).
• €0.25 in rake will be equal to a World Cup point. (e.g. 100 World Cup points will be the equivalent of €25 in rake).
• A prize pool of €10,000 will be allocated in this promotion. The following amounts will be divided based on % of rake contribution to the players who choose the countries that are eligible for a prize: €2500 will be divided amongst the players that choose the country that is the World Cup Winner, €1500 will be divided amongst the players that choose the county that is the losing finalist, €1000 will be divided amongst the players that choose the losing Semi-finalists, €500 will be divided amongst the players that choose the losing Quarter-finalists and €250 will be divided amongst the players that choose the teams that are defeated in the Second round.
• Please be aware that points may not be counted if a table session is begun before the start of the designated timeframe.
• Please allow up to 48 hours for prize money to be credited.
• Players must ‘opt in’ for this promotion to be eligible for a prize. Players can ‘opt in’ by choosing a country by registering for that Holding tank in the poker client.
• World Cup Glory prizes can be combined with VIP bonuses and rake based payments.

• All winning accounts are subject to standard Fraud and Security checks to ensure compliance with Promotional and General Network T’s & C’s. Any accounts found to be in breach of Fraud or Network rules will be locked and disqualified from the promotions.
• Poker Managers reserve the right to adjudicate or amend any result as they see fit.
• InterPoker reserves the right to use customer’s poker Nickname for use in reasonable amount of marketing and/or future promotions.
• InterPoker reserve the right to withdraw or alter this promotion at any time or to refuse this offer to any player.
• In the event of a service crash or a disruption, the promotion for that day will be rerun at the discretion of InterPoker. InterPoker will be the sole arbiter as to whether a promotion will be rerun.
