Lobby Screen
The Single Table Tournament Lobby will display the full range of Single Table Tournaments that are offered to all Interpoker players. All features of the tournament including Game Type, Buy-in Fee and the Tournament Name are displayed on the Lobby Screen. In addition, to the right of the Lobby Screen a player may view information on a particular highlighted tournament.
Status
There are five status options for each tournament.
- Pre-Registration: The amount of time remaining until Registration begins is displayed.
- Registering: A player may register for a tournament, but the tournament will not
begin until all of the seats at the table are filled. - In Progress: Registration for that particular tournament has ended and the tournament is now in progress.
- Completed: The tournament has finished and the prizes have bee awarded to the player's.
- Cancelled: If for any reason a tournament has been cancelled, that information will be displayed. Under these circumstances, all entry fees are refunded.
Buy-In
100% of the Buy-In fee is allocated to the prize pool.
Fee
This is collected by Interpoker.
Total Fee
This is the amount deducted from a player's account when that player registers for a tournament. The Total Fee is equal to the sum of the Buy-In and the Fee.
Players
This is the number of players that are currently registered for the tournament as well as the number of players required to join the tournament before it can begin.
Starting Chips
The number of chips each player receives at the onset of the tournament.
Levels
This is the amount of times the blinds are to be increased until the completion of the tournament.
Game Per Level
This is the number of hands dealt out to all players at each level. For instance, if the Game Per Level is 10, then the blinds will increase every 10 hands. Single Table Tournaments usually are set at the following levels.
Level Blinds
- 15/30
- 30/60
- 50/100
- 100/200
- 200/400
- 400/600
- 600/1200
- 1000/2000
Prize Pool
The prize pool is the total amount of money collected in the prize fund. The prizes awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place players is displayed, usually in the following order:
- 1st Place - 50% of the Prize Fund
- 2nd Place - 30% of the Prize Fund
- 3rd Place - 20% of the Prize Fund
In addition, a player may view the register button. In order to register for a tournament, click this button. If a player is already registered for that tournament, the button will change to read Unregister which may be clicked if a player decides that they do not want wish to participate.
Upon all places in a Single Table Tournament being filled by players, a pop up alert will appear inviting all players to the table.
All Players are given a random seat at the table. Cards are dealt to each player in order to decide which layer will be on the button. Play continues until only one player is left who at that point is declared the winner of the tournament. If a player sits out during the tournament, their cards will be folded on every hand. However, their blinds and antes will continue to be p laced into each pot until that player returns to the table.
Players are allocated a seat randomly and cards are dealt to decide who will be on the button. Play will continue until only one player is left, who will be declared tournament winner.
If you sit out from the tournament you will be automatically folded from every hand, but your blinds and antes will continue to be placed.
